Carol Lee

Hi, I’m Carol, a graduate student at the Johnson Business School of Cornell University. I’m majoring in Applied Economics and Management now and I’ve always been passionate about art—especially photography and band performances.

I’ve gained extensive experience in the arts, including commercial photography, exhibition planning, and documentary production. In the past, I completed over 40 commercial and portrait shoots, taking promotional photos for coffee shops and dessert shops to support their online marketing. I also worked at China Guardian Auctions on exhibition planning and cultural marketing, providing aesthetic design and promotional photography.

My love for music and photography propelled me to join the production of an English documentary in 2023. I began learning classical piano when I was a child and organized over ten concerts before I turned 18. In high school, I started experimenting with improvisation and formed my own band. In 2023, I took part in both filming and event planning for Song of Ascension, a documentary portraying the struggles and growth of a minority rapper in China..

These experiences have deepened my insights into how to combine  my passion with professional skills for creating greater social and commercial value. I believe I will continue to create meaningful projects and works for the world in the future.
